Shoot & Edit package using Apple Final Cut Pro Studio
There are certain jobs where it makes economical sense to shoot and edit as a one-man package. I can offer this highly cost-effective service using my fully portable edit suite which can be located on-site if necessary. There are hundreds of people online offering video production but few have the equipment or experience to deliver broadcast quality results (I have been in this industry for 15 years!).
Typical examples for shooting and editing as a cameraman/editor package are:-
- Product demonstrations
- Shoot/Edit PAL or NTSC and upload rushes/edits via FTP or DropBox in whatever format you like
- Conference openers
- Conference highlights (with on-site editing)
- Vox pops (for inserts at conferences etc)
- Customer testimonials (for web sites)
- YouTube videos (becoming very popular for companies)
- Company announcements (e.g. CEO piece-to-camera requiring a fast turnaround)
In conjunction with the Panasonic AF101or Sony Z7 (shooting to card), I can achieve a fast shoot and edit work flow. The edit suite is fully portable and can be located at your premises in the UK or overseas. The photo (right) is my kit, consisting of:-
- Apple Mac Book Pro with 17" cinema display
- 2TB dedicated media drive
- Capture DVCAM/Mini DV/HD and other file formats via tape or card
- Final Cut Studio 7
- DVD Studio Pro 4
- Compressor 3.5 (for encoding to YouTube, iPod, Quicktime etc)
- Samsung 22" 1080i HD external monitor (optional)
- Access to 30 royalty free music CDs

Glidecam Kit
I am able to offer an affordable Steadicam rig. The Glidecam is one of many rigs on the market allowing superb smooth tracking shots used for presenter PTCs, PoV shots or walkthroughs.
It is designed to take a medium-weight camera such as my Panasonic AF101, Sony Z7; EX1/3 etc.
The kit is fast to set up and de-rig to continue shooting on tripod.
