PhoneCam - Production Shots

Last updated: 29 January, 2008

I have decided to share the contents of my camera phone (or production photos) with anyone who cares to see what we've been up to. I'll try to update it regularly.

I can now do sound with the special boom attachment on

my head!

Shooting a Botox injection in Malta.

Me and Chris in Malta.

Malta, again.

Filming is really hard when you can't stand up properly.

Filming in a goldfish bowl!

2007 started off well with a rare opportunity to work with Peter Kay - I man whose work I am a great fan of...

The delightful Kate Silverton.

The Emmerdale set, filming for the Friday Night Project with Alan Carr, Patsy Kensit and Justin Lee Collins.

Bill wearing his new wedding outfit.

Bill with what looks like an eel crawling along his boom pole!

The Countdown set at YTV studios.

Tim Rawson trying to figure out how to remove the long piece of wire from his nose.

Camera assistant Adrian either playing a motor-racing arcade game or trying out a new crane at a broadcast exhibition.

Director Andy Baker during an interview with a Halifax "Branch"!

We found Billie Piper and new Dr Who while out eating in Cardiff bay and couldn't resist a photo.

Soundie Bill Bartlett admiring some of Carfiff's fine art.

"I'm the King of Sound" so says Bill.

Who says being interviewed isn't scary?

Shooting a "Pop Idol" spoof (Hands up who hasn't done one of these yet?)

Deaf video shoot with www.acessbsl.com

Every sound recordist in the world must have done this at some point in their career...

Myself and trusty Camera Assistant (Don't know who the guy on the right is...)

Filming very hot boiling sugar at Dobson's Sweet Factory.

Rob from Channel 5 News presenting a piece for HBOS.

Everybody breath in! Filming in a field somewhere near licante, Spain.

Shoot for a medical conference.

My younger self at the top of the Humber Bridge after the most terrifying journey inside a 1970s lift!

The lovely Nigel Chatters tweaking his pots.

Myself and Tim working very hard.

This is what happens when the cameraman leaves the camera to dress the shot and the director and editor have too much time on their hands! (Yes, it's me in the shot).

Sound recordist Tim Rawson getting to grips with his new compact mixer.

Shoot in an estate agency.
